The Traveler (Mini Sacrament Kit) The idea for the creation of a portable sacrament kit first occurred to me about 40 years ago. When, as a Deacon in the Aaronic Priesthood, I was given an assignment to take the sacrament to some members of the LDS church who were in the hospital. Over these past 40 years, the thought has reoccurred each time that I've received that assignment. In 1997, I decided to do something about it and created 10 Mini Sacrament Kits in my garage. I wanted one for myself and was going to give the others to some family and friends. However, we decided that it was too good to keep to ourselves and we should provide The Traveler to the LDS marketplace for LDS book and gift stores. The idea was inspired by the Holy Spirit and one can readily see the many legitimate situations in which the Mini Sacrament Kit may be used with proper priesthood approval. Many LDS missionaries are using The Traveler. Several Bishops have one in their desk. Two LDS chaplains are using the kit. Lightweight, small, and portable in a water repellent cordura case. They fit in a LDS missionary backpack, attaché case, desk drawer, under the seat or glove box of you car, military pack, etc. This product is a great gift idea for men |
